1.MATERIAL PROPERTIES:
Synthetic quartz crystal features very good piezoelectric effect, which leads it widely applied in manufacturing frequency-select and frequency-control components such as crystal resonators, clock-oscillators, monolithic filters, SAW devices and etc.

2.MATERIAL QUALITY:
2.1. HANDEDNESS
Right-handed unless otherwise specified.

2.2.TWINNINGS
No electrical or optical twinnings shall be allowed in usable zones.

2.3.INCLUSIONS
In usable zones, the sizes and numbers of inclusions allowed per cm3are as follows:

2.4.Q-VALUE: Q-value shall be converted from a -3585 value measured with infared ray method according to the provisions of IEC 758 V.2., Q-value of ZQC's product is generally graded as following :

A a -3585=0.024 Max.
Q=3.0*106 Min.
B a -3585=0.024 Max.
Q=2.4*106 Min.
C a -3585=0.024 Max.
Q=1.8*106 Min.

2.5 QUALITY CONTROL:
(1) . Q-value of the crystal shall be tested with the sampled as-grown bars from different growing zones as upper, middle and bottom of every autoclave. (2) . Etch channel: The bars shall be checked under 40-multiplied microscope. (3) . Inclusion: The bars shall be inspected one by one with naked eyes under strong light after they are immersed in fennel oil.

2.6 SEED ORIENTATION AND DIMENSIONS:
(1) . Seed Orientation:

  1. Unless otherwise specified, it shall be 0ĄŁ00'
  2. Orientation Deviation of X-Surface to Z-Axis : +/-15' Max.
  3. Orientation Deviation of Z-Surface to X-Axis : +/-15' Max.
  4. Orientation Deviation of Z-Surface to Y-Axis : +/-15' Max.

(2) . Seed Dimensions:

  1. Y-Seed : Z=2.5mm Max.; X=3.5mm Max
  2. Z-Seed : Z=2.5mm Max. (Thickness)

The seed should be within the maximum 3mm shaded band in the center of lumbered bar.

5.PACKING
Completely ecological packing is applied. The crystal bars shall be separately inserted into dented corrugated board plates and the later packed into firm cartons worthy of long distance transportation either by sea or by air.
